Open house and fall festival on Oct 26th (with mini cows!)
Curious to learn about a new approach to school and have some fall fun?
Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 26th, from 1 to 3 pm, at Gloria Dei Church in Arnold (please let us know if you’re coming by RSVPing!). We’ll be having our 2nd annual open house and fall festival.
We’ll have a petting zoo (with mini cows, piglets, rabbits, and goats), s'mores and cider, pumpkin bowling, arts and crafts, and more! 100% free!
Our learners will also lead tours of our school and explain more about our Acton Academy program. We currently serve grades 1-8 and plan to expand to K-12 in the near future.
Here are pics from last year’s event.

If you’re curious to learn more about our approach to school, the Acton Academy learner-driven philosophy features:
Using the latest educational technology to enable an individualized "mastery" focus on reading, writing, and math.
Engaging in hands-on projects (called quests) to master the tools and skills needed to solve problems in the real world.
Building strong bodies through daily outdoor activities.
An adventure trip every week to explore the world and spark curiosity.
A multi-age environment that develops independent thinking, communication skills, and character through Socratic discussions, town hall meetings, and peer learning.
See you there!
